An £8.8million major regeneration of the Bedford Bus Station area has taken an important step forward after planning permission was granted on Monday night. Bedford Bus Station is a vital gateway to the town centre and has been in need of major improvements for decades. This £8.8million project will deliver a major boost for Bedford Town Centre with the new bus station, refurbishment of Allhallows car park and new public toilets, a brand new surface car park on Greyfriars and more.
