Bandstand reopening and the return of Music in the Meadows

Mayor Dave Hodgson officially reopened the Bandstand and welcomed the return of Music in the Meadows with Bedford Town Band being the first to perform.
The Bandstand has been fully refurbished and redecorated and has been given a new lease of life for many years to come.
Every Sunday for the rest of August and the first week in September, there will be a two-hour performance of traditional bandstand music from 3pm to 5pm, with people invited to come and listen completely for free.
