Bedford Borough petrol more expensive than Milton Keynes

31 Mar 2021

Once again, we have seen the petrol price in Bedford creep up to a position where it can be over 8p a litre cheaper in Milton Keynes.

Last week the cheapest price in Bedford for unleaded petrol, according to PetrolPrices.com, was 124.9p and the highest price was 129.9p.

In nearby Milton Keynes the range of prices was 116.7p to 123.9p.

There can be no justification for this price difference.

Mayor Dave Hodgson has written to the petrol stations in Bedford Borough urging them to reduce their prices so Bedford residents are not charged more than those living in Milton Keynes.
