Bedford Street Iftar
Islam Bedford and Islamic Reflief are holding Bedford's first Street Iftar on Thursday 28th April and welcoming the whole community to join with them to break the fast.
Iftar is the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset, breaking the fast at the time of the call to prayer for the evening prayer.
The Bedford Street Iftar is a community event held during the month of Ramadan and a fantastic opportunity to bring communities together to better understand each other. Whilst listening to speakers from a wide range of backgrounds who speak about various topics there will also be free food for anyone and everyone.
The Bedford Street Iftar will take place from 7pm on Thursday 28th April in Harpur Square.
