Bedford Today: Hodgson becomes bookies favourite in Mayoral Race

Bedford Today are reporting that according to bookmakers Ladbrokes, Lib Dem candidate Dave Hodgson had edged ahead to become favourite in the race to be Bedford's new Mayor.
They say:
"Last week, his odds were 5-4 at Ladbrokes, but they fell to 4-5 on Monday, 4-6 on Tuesday, and had reached 4-7 by 10am on polling day.
"Conservative Parvez Akhtar was previously favourite with odds of 4-5.
"By Tuesday he was available at 11-8, and he had fallen further to 13-8 as the borough went to the polls."
