Bedfordshire Games 2022

Mayor Dave Hodgson attended the 2022 Bedfordshire games yesterday at Bedford international athletics stadium.
To kick off the day there was a spectacular performance from the Biddenham Gold Star cheerleaders. From then on there were events throughout the day ranging from events such as the 100m dash and wheelchair soft ball.
Mayor Dave Hodgson said "It was great to see so many young people coming together with a competitive and community spirit, with the noise of the crowd cheering on their friends and fellow competitors. These were the first Bedfordshire Games since the COVID-19 pandemic began and it was good to be back at the athletics stadium to watch the games and award medals to the deserving winners."
