Third Councillor resigns from the Mayor's cabinet

Councillor Sarah Gallagher has resigned from Bedford Borough Council's executive cabinet today (28th May). She is the third member of the cabinet to resign since being reappointed less than three weeks ago at the Annual Meeting of Bedford Borough Council. 

Councillor Henry Vann commented, "Councillor Gallagher is finally discovering what many of us have been saying for more than two years. The Tory house of cards is crumbling and leaving the council in chaos. 

The sooner Mayor Tom Wootton resigns, the better for Bedford Borough!"
