Full List of Bedford Borough Development Proposals Released

A full list of all sites proposed for development under the the process for setting the framework for development in the Borough until 2021 has now been published.
Bedford Borough Council's proposals for developments on its own land included many green spaces and valuable areas of public land. The proposals were attacked by the Lib Dems as an attempt by the Council to 'sell off the family silver.'
The full list of nearly 300 sites will now be assessed by the council, with a list of 'preferred sites' to be subject to public consultation in autumn 2009.
