Govia Thameslink Railway offer an insult

Responding to Govia Thameslink Railway's decision to compensate only season ticket holders despite the recent railway chaos, Bedford Liberal Democrat Councillor and commuter Councillor Henry Vann said "It is all very well desperately offering compensation late in the day, but this is rubbish. Thousands have found themselves stranded by Thameslink's incompetence with little to compensate them but the Government's feeble excuses.

Henry added "Not only does this frankly rubbish offer fail to reach many of those who don't buy season tickets, but it also fails to address the more important issue: when will we get our fast trains back and when will the Government get to grips with the incompetent level of service on our trains on their watch? Take action now, re-instate Bedford's fast trains, and offer everyone affected proper compensation."
