Earlier today IMayor Dave Hodgson and Councillor Sarah Gallagher watched Shortstown Rangers FC beat Rushden and Diamonds 5-3. Well done to both teams on a good match.

Mayor Dave Hodgson recenlty awarded £1000.00 to Shortstown Rangers Football Club from the Mayor's Community Chest. The money has all0 allowed Shortstown Rangers Football Club to buy equipment for all teams including balls, cones, bibs, bags and training goals, allowed Shortstown Rangers to affiliate to the Bedfordshire Football Association with will provide insurance cover and allowed Shortstown Rangers to pay their League entry fee for the teams to participate in the Bedfordshire Mini Soccer League.
