Mayor Dave Opens New Lidl Store In Bedford

The new Lidl store on Goldington Road in Bedford is now open, and Mayor Dave Hodgson was on hand to cut the ribbon at the official opening this week.

"It was a pleasure to join them for the official opening and ribbon cutting bright and early yesterday morning, and to wish everyone good luck."

The new store is another one in a string of examples of investment in this high profile location on a key route in and out of the town, following the opening of Waitrose a few years ago, and the emerging development across the road at Elm Parc, which has begun with the opening of the new McDonalds restaurant
