Mayor Dave's Message as Postal Vote Ballots Start Arriving

Postal voters will be receiving their postal ballots very shortly, if they haven't already, and Mayor Dave Hodgson has encouraged people to make sure they fill in the form and return it - and to vote for him and their Liberal Democrat council candidate!

Commenting, Mayor Dave said:

"Please fill in the form and return it - we're all exasperated by goings-on in Westminster but these are critical local elections about local services and who you want representing you and your community over the next four years.'

"I'm running a positive campaign based on my record of saving services which are being lost elsewhere in the face of massive government cuts, of rapid jobs growth, of standing up for our Borough on issues such as Bedford Hospital, and of protecting our local and wider environment.'

"And with big challenges ahead, a promise of more hard work to get the best for Bedford Borough...if you want councillors and a Mayor who will work hard all year round and get things done for your community, vote Liberal Democrat in this local election!"
