Meeting the Fizzy Rascals

Earlier this week Mayor Dave Hodgson met with the Fizzy Rascals who help run Gig Buddies in Bedford.

Gig Buddies is a befriending and social group run for adults living with a learning disability. A Gig buddy is a volunteer who supports an adult living with a learning disability to attend gigs and events.

Mayor Dave said "It was great to meet Fizzy Rascals and find out more about the Gig Buddies project. It was very interesting to discuss access at venues and I hope to work with Fizzy Rascals more with relation to this in future."
