More Conservative Councils facing financial woe

It has come to light that three more Conservative controlled are facing financial problems.

East Sussex County Council has warned that it will not be able to afford to provide basic services, unless it receives more money fom the government. East Sussex need to save more than £45million by 2021/22.

Shropshire Council have told their staff they must work from home one day a month to save money, with the Council having a budget gap of £60million.

Worcestershire County Council is having to reduce it's number of staff by the equivalent of 200 full time staff due to an projected overspend of £17.9million.
