Cllr Tim Hill

After a recent serious injury Cllr Tim Hill is now back up and running and clearing the backlog of cases including the following that he is already dealing with:

. Wilstead Road footpath near bypass - Tim is seeking a meeting with a Borough Officer to try and see if the footpath can be properly relaid and maintained.

. Street lights in the old village that are more in keeping with its Conservation Area Status- Parish Councillors have agreed a scheme and are now working with Borough officers to progress it. We may not get funding for it from the Mayor's Climate Change Fund. The Parish is seeking clarification on that.

. Proposed development near Interchange Retail Park - Tim has met with Mayor Dave Hodgson to discuss what might be done to improve access arrangements.

. Progress Way roundabout - Tim is chasing urgent repairs to safety-related problems and then a proper, longer-term repair to roundabout.

.Travellers on closed access road near Interchange Retail Park and/or Abbey Fields- They left both sites after prompt action by the Parish Council, the Borough Council and Tim Hill, including Court Orders.
