News Update From Stewartby and Kempston Hardwick

After a recent serious injury Cllr Tim Hill is now back up and running and clearing the backlog of cases including the following that he is already dealing with:
Bus services in Stewartby - Tim is pressing the Borough Council to move the town centre stop back to outside the British Heart Foundation. The bus service changes mean local elderly residents have to queue with no shelter or seating outside the QD shop.
Dropped kerbs on Sir Malcolm Stewart Homes - Tim is very pleased to see that dropped kerbs have now been installed outside 30, Sir Malcolm Stewart Homes and 162, Stewartby Way. Tim is pressing for the footpath leading to the one outside 30, Sir Malcolm Stewart Homes to be repaired.
Ruts in green on The Crescent - Tim believes the work has now finished. Any feedback would be very welcome.
Broadmead Road - Tim is still pressing Highways to take action on the appalling state of Broadmead Road, especially on the west side of the railway crossing.
Sir Malcolm Stewart Homes - Several residents of the Homes have been in contact with Tim regarding Satellite Dishes Double Glazing. Tim had a site meeting with the Borough Conservation officer and a Trust Representative to discuss these issues. There doesn't seem to be much prospect of any agreement on Double Glazing. Further work on both issues needs to be done.
