Remember them from Home Safely on Remembrance Day Today

With Bedford Borough Council and the Bedford Branch of the Royal British Legion asking everyone to safely mark Remembrance Day from home today, you can follow the annual Remembrance Day service at Bedford War Memorial live thanks to online coverage being provided by The Bedford Independent and Bedford Hospital Radio.

Normally Bedford Embankment would be filled by people attending the service. However to reduce the spread of COVID-19, particularly amongst the elderly and vulnerable and with the introduction of new national restrictions, this year the public have been asked not to attend and instead the reduced COVID-secure service will be available live online through the Bedford Independent and Bedford Hospital Radio. The service will be broadcast live today, Sunday, 8th November from 10:50am.
