Saying Thanks on World Teachers' Day

Today is World Teachers' Day, and Bedford Borough Liberal Democrat Children's Services Committee Spokesperson Cllr Hilde Hendrickx has thanked teachers across Bedford Borough for all that they do. She has also paid tribute to teachers for the 'incredible lengths' they have gone to during the the coronavirus pandemic on behalf of children and young people.

Cllr Hendrickx said: "On World Teachers' Day I want to send a message of thanks to teachers across Bedford Borough for all of their efforts on behalf of children and young people. This year, teachers have gone to incredible lengths in adapting what they do to continue delivering education and to support their students in extremely challenging circumstances.'

"So a huge thanks to Bedford Borough's teachers, on World Teachers' Day and every day!"
