Summer's Gone, Summer's On Its Way

16 Nov 2011

Cllr Paul Prescod has been very pleased with the success of this summers play scheme at Wootton Upper School and Village Hall. Hoping that the success can be built on and something even bigger and better be created next year he said, "This year it has been brilliant and better than ever. Along with all the regular activities there has also been a session on film making for young people."

At least 60 young people were involved every day over two weeks and even involved the Cecil Higgins Museum. With sports activities, arts and craft workshops and film making there was plenty for the youngsters of Wootton to do.

Paul added, "It has been good to see so many young people involved and from such an age range. I really hope we can do this again next year, bringing the Parish Council, School and Museum together to give local kids something to do."
