Support for Workers During Coronavirus

Bedford Borough Council is providing advice, support and help to businesses and their employees during coronavirus.

Many things have changed about the places where we're all working, with national guidance around how workplaces must reopen in a 'COVID-secure' way to keep staff and the public safe.

If you think your workplace is not doing all that they should, or you are feeling pressured to return to work when you don't think it is safe- the Council is here to help.

You can email business@bedford.gov.uk with details and the Environmental Health team will investigate. As is normal practice, your employer will not be informed who has complained and your information will be treated anonymously, although the Council may get in touch with you for any follow-up questions.

The Council has contacted hundreds of local businesses offering support and advice on the necessary changes during this time, and businesses are also invited to contact the Council at business@bedford.gov.uk if they have questions or issues.
