Tackling Dangerous Parking in De Parys

Many residents have raised concerns with Cllrs David Sawyer and Cllrs Henry Vann about dangerous parking, particularly at school collection times.

David and Henry conducted a survey of residents in the area affected in Stancliffe Road and the majority supported the use of bollards similar to these already protecting the North side of the green, to stop people parking dangerously, and also damaging the turning circle.

This year, bollards will be placed on the most vulnerable part of the roundabout and then next year, we will use bollards to protect the rest of the rounadbout and the edge of Pennine Road.
