Commenting on the Inquiry into the contaminated blood scandal, which heard today how successive Prime Minister's had denied to accept any responsibility, former Liberal Democrat Health Minister Norman Lamb said "It is disgraceful that victims of the contaminated blood scandal have had to fight so hard, for so long, in order to get a full and open and inquiry, and the compensation they deserve. It is vital that the inquiry maintains its commitment to explore these crucial questions in a truly robust and independent manner, and that it delivers a fair outcome for the victims."
