Mayor Dave Hodgson has released a new video about the rise in Coronavirus cases increasing locally rapidly, particularly with the spread of the Indian variant.

Mayor Dave asks everyone to remain cautious, especially as Coronavirus restrictions are relaxed and talks about how the the Council, working with the NHS, have increased targeted testing to identify cases.
Mayor Dave, along with Councillor Louise Jackson, have written to both the Government and JCVI asking for more vaccinations to be made available for everyone aged 16 and over - this is often referred to as surge vaccination.
