Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus statistics for Bedford Borough have been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to April 28th:

• 1,655 people were tested (128 fewer than the previous week)
• There were 44 Covid-19 cases (12 more than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 25.4 (down from18.5 in the previous week

It also shows that 83,183 adults, or 52.5% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by April 18th.
