Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus statistics for Bedford Borough have been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to May 2nd:

  • 1,490 people were tested (165 fewer than the previous week)
  • There were 69 Covid-19 cases (25 more than the previous week)
  • The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 39.8 (down from 25.4 in the previous week

It also shows that 85,332 adults, or 53.8% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by April 25th. Meanwhile 28,620, or 18.1% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by April 25th.
