Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus statistics for Bedford Borough have been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to May 9th:

• 1,550 people were tested (60 more than the previous week)
• There were 146 Covid-19 cases (77 more than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 84.3 (up from 39.8 in the previous week

It also shows that 87,995 adults, or 55.5% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by May 2nd. Meanwhile 35,940, or 18.1% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by May 2nd.
