Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

Bedford Borough Coronavirus Snapshot Published May 27th 2021

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to May 23rd:

  • 3,219 people were tested (1,371 more than the previous week)
  • There were 362 Covid-19 cases (147 more than the previous week)
  • The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 208.9 (up from 124.1 in the previous week

It also shows that 93,207 adults, or 58.7% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by May 16th. Meanwhile 52,269, or 32.9% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by May 16th.
