Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to May 30th:

  • 8,971 PCR tests were taken (158 fewer than the previous week)
  • There were 266 Covid-19 cases (96 fewer than the previous week)
  • The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 153.5 (down from 208.9 in the previous week

It also shows that 95,758 adults, or 60.3% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by May 23rd. Meanwhile 61,058, or 38.4% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by May 23rd.
