Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

Bedford Borough coronavirus snapshot published 1 July 2021

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to June 27th:

  • 7,325 PCR tests were taken (170 more than the previous week)
  • There were 201 Covid-19 cases (28 more than the previous week)
  • The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 116 (up from 99.8 in the previous week)

It also shows that 116,387 adults, or 73.1% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by June 20th. Meanwhile 80,033, or 50.2% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by June 20th.
