Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

Coronavirus Snapshot week ending 4 July

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to July 4th:

  • 8,057 PCR tests were taken
  • There were 363 Coronavirus cases (162 more than the previous week)
  • The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 209.5 (up from 116 in the previous week)

It also shows that 118,324 adults, or 76.4% of the 18+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by June 27th. Meanwhile 82,549, or 53.2% of the 18+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by June 20th.
