Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to July 25th:

• 7,158 PCR tests were taken
• There were 574 Coronavirus cases (115 less than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 331.2 (up from 264.9 in the previous week)

It also shows that 121,797 adults, or 78.4% of the 18+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose and 98,767, or 63.6% of the 18+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by August 1st.
