Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to August 15th:

• 7,916 PCR tests were taken
• There were 609 Coronavirus cases (110 more than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 351.4 (up from 288 in the previous week)

It also shows that 122,701 adults, or 76.7% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose and 106,929, or 66.8% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by August 15th.
