Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to August 22nd:

• 7,604 PCR tests were taken
• There were 504 Coronavirus cases (105 fewer than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 290.8 (down from 351.4 in the previous week)

It also shows that 123,709 adults, or 77.4% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose and 110,053, or 68.8% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by August 15th.
