Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to September 5th:

• 7,851 PCR tests were taken
• There were 488 Coronavirus cases (16 fewer than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 281.6 (down from 290.8 in the previous week)

It also shows that 124,766 adults, or 77.9% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose and 112,242, or 70.1% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by August 15th.
