Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly Coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to 12th December:

• 10,272 PCR tests were taken
• There were 1,079 Coronavirus cases (134 more than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 617.7 (up from 541.0 in the previous week)

It also shows that by 5th December:

• 133,076 people, or 78.6% of the 12+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose
• 121,552 people, or 71.8% of the 12+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses
• 61,110 people, or 36.1% of the 12+ population, had been vaccinated with their Booster or 3rd dose
