Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly Coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to 16th January:

• 5,881 PCR tests were taken
• There were 2,178 Coronavirus cases (641 fewer than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 1,246.8 (down from 1,613.7 in the previous week)

It also shows that:

• 134,833 people, or 79.6% of the 12+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose
• 124,742 people, or 73.6% of the 12+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses
• 92,201 people, or 54.4% of the 12+ population, had been vaccinated with their Booster or 3rd dose
