Today is #WorldBookDay. The perfect excuse to dust off an old favourite or even pick up something new.
In Bedford Borough we are fortunate that no libraries have closed - and some have even extended their opening hours. For information about the borough's libraries, see www.bedford.gov.uk/libraries/. The libraries remain open due to Mayor Dave Hodgson's deliberate action to preserve and enhance the library service, there are many communities around the country that have lost their library.
