The Railway Food Collection scheme collects over 800 meals for local charities
The Railway Food Collection scheme, led by Thameslink locally, has collected 822 worth of meals through donations at Bedford and Brighton stations

Much needed repairs to B530 starting next week
Works to rebuild part of the B530 near Kempston Hardwick will start next week. The works will include replacement of sections of the road drainage system together with resurfacing of the road.

Mayor Dave Hodgson has opened the new Lidl store at St John's Retail Park on Rope Walk. Mayor Dave said "I am pleased to see a Lidl south of the river in Bedford and welcome the 20 new jobs."
