Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published
The latest weekly coronavirus statistics for Bedford Borough have been published. The snapshot includes vaccination data, with this week's figures showing that 58.2% of the 16+ population had received at least one dose by 28th March.

Bedford Borough libraries reopening starts from Monday 12th April
From Monday 12 April, Bedford Borough libraries will begin to reopen on a phased basis in line with the "next step" of the Government's Coronavirus roadmap out of Lockdown.

East West Rail Company 'Virtual Consultation Rooms' to open from Monday
From Monday the East West Rail Company will be opening their 'Virtual Consultation Rooms'. We urge you to get involved if you want to share your views about the route of East West Rail. Links to the 'Virtual Consultation Rooms' will be published on the East West Rail Company's website from Monday at https://eastwestrail.co.uk/consultation. The East West Rail Company are also holding some geographically based public events including on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week, again details are on their website. Mayor Dave Hodgson will also be arranging online public sessions to listen to views regarding the Council's consultation response as we proceed through the East West Rail Company's consultation period.

Cheapest petrol in Bedford Borough
Mayor Dave Hodgson recently wrote to petrol stations in Bedford Borough urging them to reduce their prices so Bedford residents are not charged more than those living in Milton Keynes.
