With flood warnings still in place for the River Great Ouse, Bedford Borough Council and partners including Bedfordshire Police, Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue and volunteer groups are continuing to monitor the situation as the floodwater levels have peaked at Bedford town centre and move through the villages to the east of Bedford.
With flood warnings in place for the River Great Ouse and river levels rising, Bedford Borough Council, Bedfordshire Police and Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue are warning of significant levels of floodwaters to impact Bedford and other parts of the Borough.
