        The latest weekly coronavirus statistics for Bedford Borough have been published. Presented once again in easy-to-read infographic form, the figures show that in the seven days up to October 4th:
                
        
        Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, and the importance of slowing the spread and keeping our communities safe, Remembrance and Armistice Days will be marked very differently in Bedford this year.
                
        
        Cllr Sarah Gallagher and Mayor Dave Hodgson have welcomed the long-awaited opening of the new Shortstown Surgery, which is now open following many years of campaigning by Cllr Gallagher alongside local residents.
                
        
        Last week Mayor Dave Hodgson signed a decision to enable Robinson Pools and Fitness to reopen.
                
        
        Kempston Centre and Gadsby Street Day Centres, for people with a learning disability, reopened on Monday 5 October and Goldington Day Centre, for older people, will reopen on Monday 19 October.
