Responding to the Climate Change Committee's progress report published this morning, Bedford Borough Liberal Democrat spokesperson on climate change Mark Fitzpatrick said "The Tories must listen to this hard-hitting report- it should be a wake up call. Ten years on from the world leading Climate Change Act that had all party support, the Conservatives are putting Britain in the slow lane of climate action. By stopping new technologies like tidal lagoons and by preventing the roll out of proven technologies like onshore wind and solar, the Conservatives are jeopardising Britain's future ability to reduce climate changing pollution."
From Friday of last week Thameslink declassified 'First Class' during peak times. Peak times, for declassification, are defined as 6.30-9.30am and 4.00-7.15pm.
