Liberal Democrats on Bedford Borough Council last night urged caution over the councils budget, which fails to provide any funding for the extra costs of the Mayor.
Plans to fund further improvements to Bedford borough frontline services were thrown out during a full council meeting of Bedford Borough Council.
Bedford Liberal Democrats are celebrating figures from mayoral referendums across the country where 8 in the last 9 referenda have said NO to having an elected Mayor!
