Bedford Borough Council is advising drivers not to travel tomorrow morning (Monday) unless it is absolutely vital as gritting continues across priority routes in Bedford Borough. The council has been gritting roads in the Borough throughout the day on Sunday, and is set to head out again overnight.
Bedford Borough experienced heavy snow over the weekend, and below zero temperatures overnight and into this morning have seen potentially treacherous driving conditions.
Sadly we are unable to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day as normal tomorrow (Wednesday 27 January).
With continuing below freezing conditions and a widespread frost expected, Bedford Borough Council is advising drivers not to travel tomorrow morning (Tuesday 26 January) unless it is vital, with gritting continuing overnight.
The South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) is reopening their Community Grants programme on 15 of February.
