Mayor Dave Hodgson and Councillor Patrick Solomon joined in the fun at today's Bedford's Jamaica Independence celebration. Mayor Dave Hodgson said "I am pleased the Council could support this event through the Towns Centres Priority Fund".

Bandstand reopening and the return of Music in the Meadows
Mayor Dave Hodgson officially reopened the Bandstand and welcomed the return of Music in the Meadows with Bedford Town Band being the first to perform.

A-Level Results!
Exam celebrations for students and staff took place across Bedford Borough today with provisional figures showing that nearly 97.6% of our pupils achieved at least 1 A* to E grade and 83.2% of our students achieved 3 or more A* to E grades at A-level.
