Starting from yesterday (20th September) around six million disabled people in the UK will receive a one-off £150 disability cost-of-living payment.
Bedford Borough's floral tributes will be removed from Russell Park and the Book of Condolence will be closed today.
A limited number of pharmacies are open today including Lindley's Chemist in Queen Park, Bedford Pharmacy and Boots in Bedford and Phoenix Pharmacy on Harrowden Road.
There will be a National Moment of Reflection in the form of a one minute silence which will be held at 8pm this evening.
