With Met Office yellow warnings for snow and ice over the weekend and into next week, Bedford Borough Council is reminding people to stay at home as much as possible and only travel if necessary.
Sadly this week we lost Captain Sir Tom Moore.

The 2021/22 Bedford Borough Council budget proposed by Mayor Dave Hodgson's Executive was approved at a Full Council meeting last night with cross-party support, with no votes against. The budget maintains the Council's record of saving frontline services and protecting the vulnerable, despite severe government underfunding and the financial challenge caused by the pandemic.
Following a successful funding bid to the Department for Transport, Bedford Borough Council has purchased six eCargo bikes which will help the Council work in a greener way.
The Borough Flag is at half-mast today at Borough Hall as a mark of respect and to remember Captain Sir Tom Moore who gave so much.
