With schools closed to the majority of students, most children and young people are working from home. The government has allocated devices to schools in Bedford Borough but there's still a shortage to allow them to work remotely.
Since October 2020, Bedford Borough Council have been working alongside their partners, Sustrans, to increase the number of active travel initiatives in the Borough and the amount of people who are taking part in them.

Bedfordshire residents aged 75 and over are amongst those being invited to book a coronavirus vaccination at one of two new vaccination centres to open in the area this week. Today, Monday 1 February, a centre opens at Bedford Heights in Manton Way. It will be joined by another centre later in the week Priory House in Shefford.
