Lib Dem Parliamentary Campaigner, Michael Headley has launched a challenge to the government to end its meddling in Bedford and Kempston's local health services.
"Since being elected as Parliamentary Campaigner for Bedford it has been great to hear from so many people. Local residents have responded to me through surveys and petitions on top of the many people contacting me directly with their concerns."
Lib Dems have called for an end to the council's boom and bust financial policy when it comes to the funding of council services.
Lib Dems have slammed plans to spend over £80,000 on non essential improvements to the old town hall as a shocking waste of public money.
More needs to be done to allow local residents to call the council to account claim Liberal Democrat councillors.
Lib Dems are calling for more action to be taken to make homes for the disabled more habitable after the council revealed hundreds of thousands of pounds set aside for this purpose has not been spent.
