Bedford Borough Liberal Democrats have challenged the 2 councillors who have deserted their electorate to resign and stand again under their true colours.
Members of the Executive Committee have come in for criticism for debating the council's recycling policy when a decision already appears to have been made.
Following Full Councils decision to back Lib Dem proposals to stop the Aspects Park and Ride being axed Bedford Borough Council now claims the service may need to be temporarily put on hold for up to 6 months.
At the County Council's Executive last Monday [10th March], the Conservative Portfolio Holder for Adults, Cllr Mike Gibson denied that Social Services were refusing to support adults where "abuse and neglect has occurred or will occur".
Liberal Democrats will propose amendments to the Cabinet's Budget to ensure that it provides a better deal for local residents whilst staying within the Council Tax level proposed by the Mayor.
